Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 15 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to Webkox websites, portals, managed systems and services. Customers must ensure their authorised users comply.
Prohibited use
You must not use a Webkox service to break the law; infringe intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality; send spam or deceptive messages; distribute malware; phish or steal credentials; exploit, scan or access systems without written authority; evade security controls; harass or threaten others; host unlawful or materially deceptive content; interfere with service availability; or use resources in a way that creates unreasonable risk to Webkox, a customer or a third party.
Security responsibilities
You must protect credentials, use multi-factor authentication where offered, maintain accurate authorised-user lists, promptly remove access for departing personnel, report suspected compromise and cooperate with reasonable containment or remediation steps.
Testing and cybersecurity work
Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, monitoring or incident-response activity requires documented scope and authority from the system owner. Testing must remain within the approved targets, methods and dates.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse and, where reasonably necessary, restrict or suspend affected access, preserve evidence, notify the account owner or relevant authority, and take steps to protect systems. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. Serious, unlawful or urgent security risks may require immediate action.
Reporting
Report suspected abuse or security issues to admin@webkox.com. Do not include active passwords or private keys in ordinary email.
